All too often, I start my days by stumbling to my computer, coffee cup in hand, well before the sun is up. Then, after checking email, I realize my coffee is cold and shuffle out of my dungeon-like office only to see that it’s mid-morning and I have nothing to show for my time.

Were I a tinfoil hat kind of person, I’d assume that aliens had taken over my brain during those 3-4 hours, leaving me in a trance while they conducted experiments. Unfortunately, I know that’s not really the case and I have only myself to blame. The thing is, that knowledge doesn’t help me figure out where my time went… or how I can prevent the loss of productive hours the next day.

I could have written this. Well, except it’s not Scrabulous for me. It’s message boards and the accompanying drama. Off to read the article, becasue I really don’t intend to lose the whole day at my desk.

Oh, message boards are riddled with drama, aren’t they? I can’t stand the things, but they’re definitely good ways to bring traffic.
