I love the thought of starting at the beginning (”How do I start a blog?”) and working forward until we get to the part about making money. That kind of progressive, natural organization would definitely make things easier for readers, I know. But from my end it would mean passing by helpful, pertinent information that I encounter on the web simply because “we aren’t to that point yet”.

Thank goodness for categories! Thanks to them, what looks like jumping around from topic-to-topic on the front page will make more sense to readers who select the category most relevant to their stage in blogging.

Want to know how to change image sizes to fit your entries? There is a category on How To Tips as well as one about why Design Matters. And, yes, for those of you who just don’t know what to write about, there are plenty of ideas about what to write and how to write it so that people actually want to read it.

For now, though, this place has that overwhelming New Blog smell. I think I better do something about that, don’t you?
