Another Day, Another Upgrade

Just days after I begrudgingly upgraded to WP 2.5 which I hate, it’s time to upgrade to WP 2.5.1.
This, on a platform they’re boasting was constructed over a 6-month period by the “WordPress community”?
Some days I think there’s more “monkey” in code monkey than decent code.
UPDATE: WPCandy has a list of 30+ things that should be fixed in WP 2.6 I have to say I agree with every single freaking one of them.

Still loving my 2.0.X fork, which Technorati continues to update with no issues.
Even with 2.5 there still has been no compelling reason for me to upgrade. The only thing I might miss is the use of Ajax so users can edit comments and the use of comment threads. Other than that, I think I can pretty much hold out until the release of WP 3.0. Though by that time I may actually go back to MovableType just out of spite.
