Three More Great WordPress Plug-Ins
Filed in Blog Better (Blogging 401)
This site covers how to start a blog, build traffic and make money blogging. If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
In addition to the 10 Must-Have WordPress plug-ins I mentioned earlier, I’ve found three more to add to the list:
- Advanced Permalinks: If you’ve ever tried converting from an ugly or date-based permalink structure to something more SEO-friendly like /category/postname/ permalinks, then you know the frustration of discovering that none of your old permalinks work. With this easily configured plug-in those old links get automatically redirected to the new ones. (Note: I’m still in the process of installing it at all of my blogs, so send your support questions to the plug-in author.)
- Popularity Contest: Ever wonder which of your posts receive the most views, links or traffic? This winner from Alex King (which I found via Lori’s list of must-have plugins) makes such stats simple to track. You can even show off your more popular posts in the sidebar if you so choose.
- Tag Suggest Thing: Stop scratching your head wondering which tags are appropriate for your entries. This plug-in adds a box to your entry editing menu that lets you find relevant tags with one click. Add one or add them all!
So, what are your favorite plug-ins?
