Blogger users can schedule posts for future entries One of my standard weekend habits involves writing several blog entries and scheduling them for automatic posting later in the week. That way if I get sick, lose my internet connection or just find myself wondering what should I blog about, I have don’t to panic.

Until yesterday, people using Blogger.com didn’t have that luxury. But now Blogger users can schedule entries for future posting.

Publishing a post in the future is pretty simple: in the post editor, reveal the Date and Time fields using the “Post Options” toggle and enter a post date and time that is in the future. When you then click the “Publish” button, your post will become “scheduled.” When the date and time of the post arrive, your post will be automatically published to your blog.

Your scheduled posts appear in your Edit Posts list alongside your drafts and published posts. To un-schedule a post, simply save it as a draft any time before it gets published.

Note, however, that this feature only works when you’re logged in to Blogger in draft mode.

This is a function I wouldn’t have to worry about. It seems like I can never get ahead so I never have any scheduled posts:(

I know that feeling. I’m struggling with it this weekend myself. Despite 6 hours online yesterday, the only thing I accomplished was catching up on long overdue email replies and reading 1/3 of the feeds in my reader.
